Referrers and Fees:

Standard Psychological Consultation – $202

A Standard Psychological Consultation 60 minutes, includes 50-55mins Face to Face and 5-10 minutes notes and administration.

Fee Reduction:

Unfortunately we are unable to Bulk Bill for a Standard Consultation. However, if your current financial situation is impeding you getting help, please call Janet to discuss a fee reduction until you get back on track.

National Disability Scheme (NDIS)

A Standard fee for NDIS clients is $214.41 as per their guidelines. Large reports, assessments and home visits attract additional fees. Please talk to Janet for a quote if relevant for you.

Department of Veterans Affairs (DVA)

DVA have a Schedule of Fees for al Psychological Services. Please ask your GP for a referral to access Psychological Services. This referral should be for 12 sessions or 12 months.

REBATES ON FEES:

MEDICARE REBATES:

A General Practitioner (GP) or your Psychiatrist can write you a Mental Health Treatment Plan, which entitles you a Medicare Rebate for up to 20 sessions per calendar year. (This is with the increase in sessions due to demand during Covid)

The current rebate on a Standard Psychological Consultation is $92.90 ( 1st July 2023 ).

NB: Some clients reach their Medicare threshold later in the calendar year, and receive a much higher rebate on my services.

PRIVATE HEALTH REBATES:

If you are currently ensured with a Private Health Fund and you have Extras which include Psychological Services, then you may be eligible for a rebate on my services. Please check with your Private Health Fund first to get an idea of how much you can expect. Often there is a different amount for Initial and Subsequent sessions.

REFERRERS:

SELF REFERRING

Anyone can call me and refer themselves for Psychological Sessions. However, unless you have a referral from another source, you cannot claim any rebate on my fees.

GP’S AND PSYCHIATRISTS – Chat with your Doctor for MHTP

WORKCOVER - If you have a WorkCover claim currently valid please provide your claim number and/or Case manager contact when you enquire or book your sessions.

EMPLOYEE ASSISTANCE SCHEMES, including Queensland Police Services (QPS)- When booking services please provide your Case Manager Contact details. These EAP schemes generally fund 3-6 sessions depending on the circumstances.

NDIS SUPPORT COORDINATORS- Please provide your Support Coordinators name/and or your NDIS number to send invoices to at time of booking your session.
